1. This is unlikely as the couple of major asbestos class actions there were settled were subsequently appealed and overturned.
   
   Although there are no existing class actions for asbestos victims there are a number of bankruptcy orders that might be financially helpful.
   
   These bankruptcy plans exist where corporations who mined, manufactured or sold asbestos-bearing products have sought to restructure their businesses by placing monies in funds to meet asbestos-related claims while continuing to do business.
